Art Ensemble Of Chicago arrives in Paris, invited by BYG Records to record a series of albums. So quartet, they live in community and multiply the meetings with the musicians based in the French capital.
This album is their first try, in the light of the following it seems almost "wise", but the dormant music of multi-instrumentalists is ready to open up to the world!

Album dedicated to Charles Clark (March 11, 1945 - April 15, 1969).
