The title is enough to indicate that Clifford Thornton was in Algiers with Shepp and the others. ketchaoua, a large mosque located in the casbah of Algiers inspires Clifford an intense and deep meditation about tranquillity, the human condition and the importance of roots.
In many ways this introspective and even philosophical album immerses us in questioning, between dream and reality.
